Is the Secret to Happiness Really A Secret?
Most of us innately know what makes us happy, yet we may not want to acknowledge it.  Why?  Because it is too simple to be true.

Human nature likes to think things are more complex than they really are.  Complexity makes us feel smart, intelligent, accomplished, and gives us an excuse when we don’t achieve it.  Yet if we are not happy, it is because achieving happiness is too complex… or is it?

Science of Happiness
Happiness, science has shown, is contagious and can spread quicker throughout the world than we believe.  The secret to such a contagion is no other than relationships.  Relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and the Supreme Power (God) and His Manifestations are at the root of our happiness.

When we meditate, as recent research has shown, we tend to be happier, calmer, less anxious, more positive, have less pain, and live a more fulfilling life. Meditation is the process of tapping into the relationship our soul has with God. It is a form of prayer, you might say. When we meditate and pray, we become happier and in turn, it affects our relationships with our family and friends.  Meditation brings forth positive thoughts and imagination which sooner or later lead to reality.  Meditation leads to bringing forth positive intentions, and positive intentions results in positive actions and reactions.

Help Others, Help Yourself
When you watch people who are truly happy, you realize they are serving others at some capacity. Service brings them joy, fulfills their positive intentions, and attracts more positive people and energy towards them.

Happiness takes practice. Initially, it is through meditation and prayer that transforms negative thoughts into positive ones.  Then, the transformation begins with your relationships which brings forth more happiness. And finally, happiness leads to unconditional service to others.

If you are in pain, meditating, showing love to others, serving others, and focusing on positive thoughts can result in empowerment, happiness and finally, decreases pain emotionally and physically. Once we each learn how to transform our pain into joy, there will no longer be pain.
